A hex board has three line directions instead of two, so every hex is read by three clues at once — rows from the left, ↙ lines from the top right, ↘ lines from the bottom right. Fill them all and a picture appears.

• Each clue is the runs of filled hexes along its line, in order, read from the clue's end.
• Some clues hide behind a ? — the lines crossing them still pin down every hex. More question marks, harder board.
• Every mark is checked as you play: a wrong guess costs time, and in solo play one of three mistakes.
• Hold a hex to light up its three lines and their clues.
• Every board has exactly one picture, reached by logic alone — from 37 hexes up to 127.
